You are totally a cook if you want to be.

After working full-time for a whopping two years now and living solo for the first time, I've found myself with the number one question we all ask ourselves every day  as we head home from work: "What's for dinner?" (In second place, "What's in my pantry?" and in third, "Haven't I already had fast food once already this week?) At least this is how it is in my world: A twenty-something blossoming into a culinary expert/future mom of hypothetical hungry kids and husband? (Dream big. ha) If you think about it, it's kind of a part of growing up.  No more college meal card. Fine. (I miss those days!)

This is real life. Shopping. Cooking. Eating. On. Your. Own. GO!

What I've found recently, is that anyone is a cook.  You just try and you might not make it just right, but you cook it again maybe another time and it's WAY better and there you go.  Recipe. You are totally a cook if you want to be. (Life lesson? Definitely.)

So I thought writing about these times of kitchen trial and error might be fun and possibly humorous.  Looking forward to sharing some stories from my kitchen and recipes from my budding collection. :)
